Jacket - Primark  //  Top - Forever21  //  Skirt - c/o Sugarhill boutique *  //  Shoes - c/o Shelikes *  //  Bag - Primark  //  Fox and heart ring - c/o jeweshop *

Yay... I've found a midi skirt that actually suits me. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with the midi skirt in the fact that I love them on other people but never feel they look quite right on me. I'm normally a very long or very short skirt kinda gal but I looooove this cute pleated pastel (yes more pastels) number from SugarHill Boutique and for once I don't feel to chunky in it, usually I find my hips are to 'on show' but this one is nice and skimming.  Check out the very cute Fox ring and heart wrap ring Jeweshop kindly sent me, I've been wearing them non stop since receiving them.

I wore this outfit last night for a family meal to Frankie and Benny's as its my birthday next week. I've been enjoying my hair up lately as normally my hair is always down for nights out, its nice to have a bit of a change and I felt very sophisticated.

Thanks

Jumper - F&F At Tesco  //  Trousers - H&M  //  Bag - New Look via Asos  //  Loafers - Primark  //  Necklace  - H&M

Hey kids, a very cutesy outfit of the week today. I wore this out last night, although with heels not these loafers. I think it might be my new favourite look, even though the boy said I looked like a pink sheep. I love these trousers, the print is amazing and actually has a subtle pink in the pattern, which you can't see, so they go perfectly with this amazing cropped fluff ball of a jumper which leapt into my Tesco shopping trolley last Saturday!!

I've had a busy week at work this week and actually got a promotion to assistant manager, which is good but a little daunting. But a pay rise is always appreciated what with the wedding day looming! It'll be another busy week this week and I have a presentation on Thursday for uni which I'm already scared about . Head back here on Wednesday for a nice spring wishlist post (becoming obsessed with pastels again).

Thanks

Toning up for the wedding dress

As you probably all know I'm getting married this year and have recently found my dress. Now the trouble is I need to be able to fit into this dress in November. At the moment the dress fits perfectly so I can't get even a tiny bit bigger. The dress is also quite clingy so although it fits really nicely I would personally feel more comfortable if I toned up the old belly area.

So I was pleasantly surprised when I got an email asking me whether I would be happy to show my readers some lovely sports gear. Now a girls gotta look good while she attempts to work out right? So cue very cute pink running top and even cuter pink trainers.

Nike running top and nike running shoes  - c/o SportsShoes *

The top is lovely and light and zips all the way to the top and in the bottom picture you can see it has some thumb holes in the sleeves, honestly I'm not entirely sure why this is but I like it. The trainers are amazing, they're light and airy and great for any kind of sports you might be doing. ( find them here). And if my exercise regime falls flat (it probably will) then I know I can wear these just generally because they're very pretty. So the plan is to eat better, she says having just eaten pizza, (but it is two for Tuesday today) and I plan to run 3 nights a week when I'm on an early shift and do some tummy toning exercising at home when I'm on a  late shift, wish me luck!!
Thanks

Outfit of the week #48

Hello, I had the most awkward blog photo taking session while having these pictures done. Since doing my pictures outside I've been pretty lucky and not had people watching but this morning it seemed like everyone had been given an invitation. I hate it and get really annoyed even though I know I would stare if I saw someone doing it. Anyway I managed to get the pictures in the end, which I'm glad about as I've been dying to show you all this gorgeous jumpsuit from mystyleunion.

Jumpsuit - c/o mystyleunion*  //  Blazer - H&M  //  Boots - c/o Barratts* //  Bag - Zara

I love jumpsuits at the moment (and have another blue leopard print wide legged one to show you all soon) and this one is perfect for spring due to the pastel hues and light material. I've dressed it up with a blazer and heels for this shoot but have also worn it out with my leather jacket and flats for a more causal daytime look. I can't wait to wear it on holiday in June, it'll be perfect for a evening stroll in Portugal.

Hope you like it, if you do then comment... no one seems to comment anymore, waaaaaah!
Thanks

Casual outfit for you all today. This is something I wore all of last weekend for pure comfort. I went on a course for work and then slobbed about at home so I didn't need to dress up. But I think the fact the leggings are shiny makes it seem like I made a bit of an effort. As the sun was shining I was able to put the winter trainers/boots away for a bit and wear my new slips ons. I know every blogger and her dog has jumped on the cute slip on trainer band wagon but they are nice aren't they? And these snake skin ones from H&M are the coolest of the cool FACT!

Jacket - Primark  //  Jumper - H&M  //  Leggings - Primark  //  Shoes - H&M  //  Necklace - H&M  //  Bag - ASOS

Guess what....? I have my wedding dress! I ordered it kinda knowing it was the one but needed my mum and two bridesmaid to confirm it. So yesterday I paraded around my Mums house showing them all and they loved it too. So now I need to stop myself from looking at any more as I don't want to confuse myself. Now its time to buy shoes and accessories and sort out my bridesmaid, such fun!

Outfit of the week #46

                                          Jumper - H&M  //  Skirt - H&M  //  Necklace - New Look  //  Bag - Bango Mango  //  Shoes - Matalan

I'm writing this with the sun shining and it feels gooooood! Having said that I've seen a lot of people in shorts, vests and short sleeves on this sunny Sunday and I'm sorry people but come on... its not even spring yet! I definitely still need a jacket despite the warmer sun. My outfit of the week post is a little ensemble I wore last night, fairly casual and to quote my fiancĂ© ''Can I say you look a little bit grunge in that outfit'' Yes, yes you can! It is a little grunge and I like it that way. The skirt was a bargainous £3.99 from H&M (loving that shop at the mo). Every girl needs a little black tube skirt and I love the lace detailing on this one. Every girl also needs a breton style top in their lives too, they're just perfect for all outfits and occasions and they look so fresh and preppy, don't cha think?

Hopefully this lovely weather will stay with us for a while, I'm hoping tomorrow will be nice as the boy and I have the day off work. We have to go give notice of marriage (oooooo how grown up) in the morning then perhaps a little stroll by the canal or something in the afternoon. In the evening we're heading out for a meal with both sets of parents. They have met a number of times before but this will be the first collective meal out together so I expect lots of wedding talk will be had.
Hope you liked this outfit, let me know as usual in the comments
Thanks

Outfit of the week #45

Hello, how do? It's March yay! I love getting January and February out of the way, they're such dreary months, aren't they? So now it's officially 8 months to the wedding, eek! We really need to start confirming plans and I need my dress as soon as really because I can't sort my bridesmaids out until I know what I'm wearing. I went wedding dress browsing with my Mummy again yesterday and it was a much better experience then the previous time. The lady was so much more accommodating to my vision and I chose 6 dresses that I liked the look of and kinda went from there. I'm not sure I found the actual definite one but there were 3 options that I loved very much so I'm going to go back and try them again with my bridesmaids in tow so they can give me there opinion too. I feel so much more relaxed about it now I know there are some dresses I like enough to wear, whereas last week I came away hating wedding dresses....

Jumper - H&M  //  Trousers - Primark  //  Shoes - Dorothy Perkins  //  Necklace - H&M  //  Clutch bag - New Look via Asos

Todays outfit is something fairly casual I wore out on Friday night to a meal with my gals. I was planning on eating lots (which I did) so comfort was a must. I instagrammed a picture saying 'wearing my pyjamas out tonight' as these loose fitting trousers do remind me of some pjs. They're not actually pjs but they are very comfy, I love the mirror/ink print and they have a slight blue twinge in real life, which doesn't really show well in these pics.  My Mum brought me these gorgeous blue shoes for Christmas which is brave of her, but I love them.

Thanks for reading guys and gals.

Monochrome madness

I thought I would continue with the monochrome checked feel I started in my last post as I think I'm a little in love with this look! I adore this jumper although its taken me a little while to get use to it as its a tighter fit then I usually wear (I love a baggy jumper). I've seen this quilted pleather skirt on a few blogs and knew I would have it in my wardrobe eventually. I love these little Primark loafers too and the bag is a staple in my life at the moment. Check me out on the big tree in these pics, ha!

Outfit of the week #44

Helloooo, its Sunday which means another outfit of the week for y'all. This one I wore a couple of weekends ago to pop to the local and watch some friends play in a band. It was too cold to wear a nice dress or skirt so I opted for jeans and this amazing checked t shirt from Asda. I love monochrome checks on clothes at the moment, I think they look so crisp and smart. Wearing my fav coat again and I re-discovered some lovely velvet wine coloured wedged booties in the back of my wardrobe, which add a great flash of colour to the whole outfit!

Coat - Tesco  //  Top - George@Asda  //  Jeans - Primark  //  Necklace - H&M  //  Bag - New Look via ASOS  //  Boots - Not sure?

Guess what? I had my first wedding dress shop experience yesterday... well not really as the evening dress shop only had a tiny selection of dresses so I tried on five different styles just to see what they were like! And it turns out I don't really like wedding dresses, ha! They were all very pretty but I just don't get it!!! They were too big, too poofy, too stiff, heavy and formal for my liking. I definitely need something more floaty and free (you know what I mean?). I'm heading to a proper bridal shop next Saturday so hopefully I can get a better idea but I'm definitely not your traditional wedding dress kinda gal. I'll probably end up in a simple maxi dress from Primark knowing me, tehe!

Hope you like this outfit, anyone else loving monochrome checks at the moment and digging out old shoes from the backs of wardrobes?

Thanks

Outfit of the week #43

How awful has the weather been...? Luckily I managed to sneak in some outfit shots in-between showers. This is what I wore on valentines day (night) when I cooked a lovely meal for the boy. I don't usually go for tacky heart or lip motifs on clothes but I love this little lip print t-shirt I spied in Primark on a shopping trip I had with my mum on Friday (despite the weather).

Everything from Primark (even the tights) #sorrynotsorry

I love the texture on this t-shirt. Its actually a crop top but it looks much better tucked into the leather look skirt. I adore the cute loafers and have been after a smart but easily wearable pair for a while and Primark have come up trumps again. I love the bag too but its quite thin so you can't really fill it up much and you can't go wrong with a silver spike necklace can you.

My week off is finished now, waaaaa! But I managed to make all my wedding invites, trial some paper flowers perhaps for the tables and even baked scones (yum) and cake pops, but I dropped these on the floor before they were dry (not so yum). I had a great shop with Mum and brought most of Primark (see above) and I've booked some wedding dress appointments the first of which is on Saturday, eek! So I definitely made the most of my time off.

Thanks

Faux fur and cobalt blue

Two of my favourite things in this mid week outfit post. Fur and this amazing cobalt blue colour. I never use to be one for faux fur but I'm loving this very fluffy gillet even though it makes me feel ostrich like. I think it looks great chucked on over a jumper or cute dress. This blue colour is my favourite at the moment and as well this jumper I've got a coat and pair of shoes in the same shade (I won't wear them all at the same time perhaps a bit too much). The jumper goes perfectly with this little aztec mini from Primark though and who can resist a little denim collar poking out to.

Still loving my Deathly Hallows necklace from Daisy Mae jewellery and my faithful white satchel. I love the print on this skirt and the material is a bit thicker so I feel its more of a winter skirt if you know what I mean?!

Thanks for reading, let me know what you think.

Outfit of the week #41

Not sure whether I'm chanalling lumberjack or toddler in this outfit. Perhaps a lumberjack's toddler is more fitting!! Anyway I don't care because I love this cute pinafore and always will. I think because its black I feel its more appropriate for a 20 something year old to wear it and it literally goes with everything and anything, win!

Check out my amazingly cheap (£5) Spring mac style coat from Primark. It was on sale for £10 which I thought was brilliant but when I got to the till she charged me £5.. brilliant! I've said it before and I'll say it again... I bloody love Primark.

Hope you like my casual Sunday outfit.
