cape vibes
yep i'm in the ripped denims again. . . i can't help it, i just love 'em. i should probably get some new ones. i was actually brave and wore my fedora around tescos on saturday, (the glamorous life of me huh)! i got the odd stare here and there not as bad as i had anticipated. a simple grey marl tee and jeans is the best kind of outfit sometimes, good old primark giving the basics and would you believe the cape is george at asda! highstreet fashion is the best.
cape - george at asda // tshirt - primark // jeans - primark // shoes - matalan (old) // sunglasses & fedora - primark // necklace - new look
definitely excited to start wearing sunglasses again, how cool are these basic clubmaster dupes from, yep you guessed it, primark? they have a cool tortoise shell frame and gold accents, probably my perfect style and shape of glasses ever . . . although aviators are still hot! i've been loving my hair in the last few outfit posts but I'm getting a bored again, i think i want to go really dark brown and try a bit of a shorter bob, perhaps a graduated, slightly longer at the front look, what do you guys think?
thanks

outfit of the week #101
i've always been a fan of the jumpsuit, there's something very put together and sleek about a nicely cut jumpsuit. i'm also a biiiiig fan of the pinafore/dungaree look so this one i found in the asos sale, recently dropped from £50 to £20, went straight into my basket (regardless of my trying not to buy too many clothes rule). the grey crop underneath is attached to the jumpsuit, which I love and I think layering a long necklace over the top really sets off the whole look.
jumpsuit - asos // jacket - zara (old) // shoes - dorothy perkins (old) // bag - asos (old)
i wore this out last night to a friends birthday meal and felt so great in it. it's loosely cut so room for lots of burgers and wine. although not too much as you can spy the sneaky muffin top/back fat in this outfit. i dug out my old favs the boyfriend denim jacket and the cobalt blue shoes for this look, i haven't wore them in a while but they never fail to spice up my style.
p.s. it was very windy while taking these pics so please excuse the hair !

camel and denim
kinda trying the double denim today, although really its just a denim coloured blue shirt not actual denim but the thought was there right? i've also gone a little ott on the camel too but actually loving this look and felt very chic wearing it around asda on Saturday. wearing my fav ripped jeans again these may as well be glued to my legs at the moment, love them.

coat - krisp clothing // shirt - new look // jeans - primark // boots - new look (old) // bag - ? // necklace - h&m
i know this coat is a bit of a cliche blogger coat but it is amazing. it falls so nicely and looks so posh on every outfit i wear it with. although i'm looking forward to the warmer weather i'm a bit sad i won't be wearing all my favourite autumn/winter jackets again for a while. although lets face it i have plenty of spring/summer cover ups too.

outfit of the week #100
hello all, sorry its been a while since the last outfit post, didn't have a chance to take any pictures last weekend so no posts, although you all seemed to enjoy my summer dresses wish list instead. i bring you a smart casual outfit today, which i just chucked on to wear to the pub to meet some friends recently. i really do love an oversized shirt and not just to slob around the house in. they look fab dressed up with some skinnies and heels. this checked one from h&m has been worn repeatedly with both blue and black denim jeans since i purchased it and my little peep toe shoes are starting to fall apart from the amount of love they get.

shirt - h&m // jeans - primark // shoes - deichmann (old) // bag - matalan (old) // necklace - c/o orealia jewellery *
in my last outfit post i showed you a gorgeous hand harness and this week i bring you another amazing piece from Orelia jewellery, check out his beautiful feather torque collar necklace. doesn't it look gorgeous with the open shirt? i can't wait to wear it with some summer tshirts and vest tops. this is my hundredth outfit of the week post!!!! amazing. . . time flies when your having fun *read buying clothes

where's the rum?
feeling a little jack sparrow in this get up, hence the title. yep it's more seventies inspired fashion from me (i just can't get enough). the husband and i went to a food festival on good friday and we got so many comments, from being called 'obvious musicians' to 'you're rocking the hippy headband therefore must like chilli sauce' (eh?). so i would say if you want to stand out and feel insanely cool then get yourself to h&m and grab one of these headbands. although I have to say I think the jacket helped too, bladdy love this jacket from another8.

its my birthday tomorrow so we have a couple of days off work, its nice to have a four day weekend again. we're heading into london on saturday to see the Book of Mormon show, and then perhaps a cocktail or two in covent garden. hope the weather stays nice for us, wandering around london in the rain is never fun!!!

outfit of the week #97
i may be enjoying the seventies trend a little too much lately. i think every outfit i've worn in the last couple of weeks has had some kind of seventies influence. this one being no exception. . . we have the suede tasselled jacket and the little mustard skirt, which by the way is a primark find from about 3 years ago, pretty glad i didn't throw it away. this light weight blue shirt is a staple in my wardrobe at the moment. it's just so easy to team with jeans or a skirt like this. it gives the denim shirt look I want but it isn't heavy and stiff like some denim shirts.

jacket - c/o celeblook * // shirt - new look // skirt - primark (old) // boots - matalan (old) // clutch - primark
i'm loving this new church door background for my outfit posts, although i'm really having to ignore my people watching me insecurities as the public are constantly driving/walking past while we're taking pictures. . . and i hope the vicar doesn't mind me using his backdoor as a backdrop!! i went to a hat party last night, which gave me a chance to wear the fedora from my previous post again, expect some hat related instagram pics if you follow me on there (@lazy2lovely) .

embracing the 70s
i've always loved seventies fashion, its definitely an era i should have been born in. little ditsy florals are my favourite and i've finally bagged myself a fedora, thank you primark. although so far its been way too windy to actually wear it out the house. i wore this outfit literally all of last weekend. smock dresses are so comfortable and i can see me wearing this sleeveless blazer with everything!

dress - can't remember soz // sleeveless blazer - eBay // faux fur stole - new look // bag - matalan (old) // hat - primark // boots - c/o onlineavenue *
it was pretty darn windy when we took these pictures but they didn't turn out too bad in the end. the necklace i'm wearing in this outfit was found down the back of my chest of drawers in our recent house move. don't you just love it when you find something you completly forgot you had. hope you like.
thanks
