Outfit of the week #79

Jumper - c/o Chicnova * // Pinafore - Primark // Denim shirt - H&M // Bag - Primark // Boots - George@Asda
Grid prints and checks forever!! Still can't get enough and I'm so glad tartan is back again this winter, i brought the cutest pleated tartan skirt in H&M for £7 in the sale yesterday, can't wait to pair it with a chunky knit and these boots. Layering is my friend with it comes to this pinafore as i just can't find a coat that goes with it.. so on goes the shirt underneath jumper underneath dress combo and all cosy. Loving an across the body bag at the moment i just wish the dress had some side pockets as i always seem to have a 'where do I put my hands' problem when I'm not carrying a bag, eek! Enjoy!
Thanks

Autumn kimono...

Kimono - Primark // Tshirt - Primark // Trousers - H&M // Boots - New Look (old) // Bag - Primark (old) // Necklace - Claires Accessories
So how much do I love this kimono jacket... ummm tooooo much. I love the print, I love the colours and I love that it only cost me £3 in a Primark sale. Yep I'm very aware that I'm basically wearing the same outfit as my last post but have changed my jacket and shoes, but you just can't go wrong with black tee and jeans. I feel quite seventies when I swoosh along in my longline kimono, love it. hope you enjoy it too.
Thanks

Outfit of the week #77
Jacket - c/o Celeb Look * // Tshirt - Primark // Trousers - H&M // Chelsea boots - George@asda // Bag - Primark (old) // Necklace - Claires Accessories
So after a two week blogging hiatus I'm back a married lady and with a new look. Check out the hair... Short and black, quite different for me but I absolutely love it. It feels so healthy and fresh. Our wedding, last Saturday, was amazing and couldn't have gone any better. The weather was incredibly hot and sunny for a November, and all our ideas and little quirks that made it personal to us worked a treat and everyone loved them. I managed to keep my dress on all day despite it being incredibly heavy and I got so many compliments (which I guess a Bride always does). Once we get the photos back I'll be sure to share a few on here for you all to see.
On to this outfit of the week. I got me another tasselled jacket, you all know I love my black leather one so when Celeb look contacted me I jumped at the chance to try out this camel tasselled number. Isn't it cool, very Kate Moss. I think it looks great with this all black ensemble and I've gone back to wearing my chunky gold chain over a black tshirt all the time. Hope you like the outfit, comment below as always.
Thanks

Outfit of the week #70
Tshirt - Primark // Trousers - H&M (old) similar here // Shoes - Matalan (old) similar here // Bag - ? Similar here // Necklace - Topshop
Please excuse the non make up face and grumpiness of these pictures, I wasn't happy with the blog photo taking situation (by this I mean old people milling around wondering what your doing... grrrr). The final pictures weren't quite as bad as I first thought apart from that fact that I should have put some make up on, opps! Anyway this is one of those outfits consisting of old clothes re-worn in new ways. I almost threw these shoes out a little while ago but i'm so glad I didn't, definitely wearing them well here. Also loving this necklace I picked up for £2.50 in the Topshop sale recently. It's got a nice ethnic/buddist kinda feel about it and everyone comments on its prettiness.

Pink and denim
Jacket - Zara // Top - Select // Trousers - Boohoo // Shoes - Matalan // Necklace - New Look // Bag - George @ Asda
Another causal outfit today... (can you tell I had a boring weekend?). I never thought I'd be a denim jacket wearer but this oversized one I picked up in the Zara sale is my fav at the moment. I think it looks great with my pink crepe trousers, which I didn't think I could ever wear casually but actually they look fab with my bargain tan brogues from Matalan (£6 in the sale, ooo yeah). I did feel a little like Princess Jasmine in these trousers and plaited hair, but thats never a bad thing right?
So its now officially 2 months to the wedding, eek! We managed to order both our rings on Sunday so thats another thing ticked off the list. I'm also heading to the dress makers tonight to see if they can alter my dress. Its a touch too long and I'm paranoid about tripping over it as I walk down the aisle. hopefully the dress maker can ease my worries and I'll get my perfect dress. Can't believe its only two months away, this year has been mega fast.
Thanks

Outfit of the week #67
Cardigan - Wearall // Top - Primark // Jeans - Primark // Shoes - Matalan // Bag - New Look via asos
This outfit got a lot of love when I posted a mirror selfie on my Instagram page last weekend, so I hope this blog post will get the same reaction. I definitely need to get myself some more breton inspired tops. They look so smart with everything, you soooo can't go wrong with a good stripy garment. Jeans have to be the one thing I hate shopping for but Primark have been my saviour recently. I have this pair and a black pair that I wear constantly and you know what for £10 they're pretty darn good... in fact I would say the best jeans I've ever had. They fit me perfectly and look really flattering. Obviously every girl is different but I strongly recommend trying them out if your struggling to find the perfect jean. *FYI - I added the holes on the knees myself*. Do comment and let me know you thoughts on this outfit, I love reading them.
Thanks

Outfit of the week #66
Jacket - Sheinside // Dress - New Look // Bag - George@Asda // Shoes - Matalan // Phone case - c/o iconemesis*
This cute phone case goes perfectly with my blush pink jacket. iconemesis have some super cute cases at the moment, a definite hit if you're a bunny fan. The lovely people behind these very funky and cute iPhone cases, iconemesis, kindly gifted me this in order to spread the word about their campaign. They hope to try and expand their brand and range of accessories, so if you want to back them in this endeavour then you have until Thursday to #supporticonemesis on indigogo.
In other news check out these man brogues.... love, love, love. Tan shoes are always flattering (hello tanned legs) and they were £6 in the Matalan sale... amaze! I was actually hoping to wear this last night to a friends birthday bbq but the sun seemed to disappear, so I popped on some jeans and a grey top, with the coat and brogues instead. I think grey compliments this subtle pink coat perfectly!

denim and floral
Jacket - Zara // Dress - HiddenFashion // Bag - Asos // Shoes - George@Asda
Loving a casual look at the moment and this denim jacket does just the right job. Chuck it on over any dress and you instantly have a casual yet cool look. I've had this dress a little while, it was actually a competition win but I haven't worn it a lot because I wasn't sure about the colours, but actually since the sun has been shining I've worn it a couple of times and am now in love with the bright red, white and blue shades and I love the drop waist detail. Apologies for the washed out photos, bright sun problems and I haven't had any time to retake pictures lately.
Thanks

Outfit of the week #63
Jumper - George@asda // Jeans - Fashion Union // Sandals - George@asda (not online) // Bag - George@asda // Belt - Primark
Had some more sunlight trouble with these pictures, but you can see the clothes so I guess thats the point really. This whole outfit, albeit the jeans, is from Asda. I went food shopping a couple of weeks back and ended up spending more on clothes than food (shopaholic problems). They had some fab pieces in and even though I spent a lot, the clothes are all good prices individually. Love Love Love these sandals, they go with everything and just make every outfit look a little cuter. As does this mouse bag... adorable right? I'm still wearing my high waisted jeans with everything and they go perfectly with this gorgeous yellow cropped jumper, the colour is fab (these pictures really don't do it justice) and the sleeves are so flattering. Definitely one of my favourite outfits recently.
I found out on Thursday that I officially have a Ba (hons) in Early Years Practice and Development and managed to get myself a 2:1. I was so pleased to finally receive the results and shocked as I was convinced (and happy) to get a 2:2. So pleased its all over, its been a hard 3 years working full time, studying and blogging.... but its done and I'm really looking forward to graduation in September.
Thanks

Spring coat: Fashion Union
Check out this cute little coat. Its so cosy and fleecy inside and the furry collar is to die for. I feel a little 60s or 70s in it because of the collars. I decided to casual it up in jeans and high tops. I've been trying a out a little beehive do lately and I don't think I'm doing to bad actually, it needs a little neatening up but considering I've never beehived before I'm pretty happy.
Coat - c/o Fashion Union * // Jeans - Primark // Tshirt - Primark // Shoes - Primark // Necklace - c/o Daisymaejewellery * // Bag - bango mango
These pictures were taken last Monday as the boy and I had the day off to give notice of marriage (yes we are officially allowed to marry now). Afterwards we had a pub lunch and a little stroll along the local canal. As the weekend had been quite warm and sunny we thought it would be a nice sunny walk but it was bloody freezing so please excuse the 'I'm very cold' poses.
Do you like how I styled the jacket? What else could I wear with this cute jacket?
Thanks

Outfit of the week #41
Not sure whether I'm chanalling lumberjack or toddler in this outfit. Perhaps a lumberjack's toddler is more fitting!! Anyway I don't care because I love this cute pinafore and always will. I think because its black I feel its more appropriate for a 20 something year old to wear it and it literally goes with everything and anything, win!

Coat - Primark // Checked shirt - George @ Asda // Pinafore - Primark // Converse - c/o John Lewis *
Check out my amazingly cheap (£5) Spring mac style coat from Primark. It was on sale for £10 which I thought was brilliant but when I got to the till she charged me £5.. brilliant! I've said it before and I'll say it again... I bloody love Primark.
Hope you like my casual Sunday outfit.
Thanks
