outfit of the week #102
yay back with another outfit. this a fairly casual look but you can't go wrong with breton and the current blogger fav, a sleeveless blazer. i'm pretty much living in my ripped denims lately (as you can tell from my previous outfit posts). its funny how you go through phases of wearing certain items and then you don't wear them for ages again.
top - hidden fashion // jeans - primark // sleeveless blazer - eBay // shoes - f&f at tesco // bag - primark
i love this big shopper bag from primark. its a 'mistake bag' as a handle on an old one broke while I was out and about so i needed to buy a new one quick, but I love it and I think the white looks so crisp and fresh especially with this monochrome stripes and pointed flats ensemble. talking of these pointed flats aren't they just perf, love a good tesco find.
thanks

outfit of the week #99
lots of tassel action in this outfit and looking a little rock chick may i add but thats never a bad thing. i can't express the love I have for my leather jacket enough. i'm sure you've all seen it many a time as it's been a staple in my drobe for a couple of years, i don't think i could ever part with it. perhaps the crochet tasselled number is a bit much with the jacket for some people but i like it. actually this outfit is basically made up of all old purchases, don't you just love it when things stay in fashion or even come back into fashion.

jacket - primark // top - c/o krisp clothing * (old) // jeans - primark // bag - matalan (old) // sandals - h&m (old) // hand harness - c/o oreliajewellery *
i was recently sent some gorgeous pieces of jewellery from Orelia, including this cute hand harness. i love how delicate it looks on the hand and i'm always a bit of a sucker for gold and torquise together, such a summery, boho combination.

Leather pants
as aforementioned in my previous outfit post, i recently had a birthday, which saw myself and the husband heading into london on saturday to see 'The Book of Mormon' we had a fantastic time and the show is hilarious! while there we had a wander round covent garden, ate amazing food and drank some yummy cocktails. . . perhaps being a year older isn't so bad after all. we had had such amazing weather the days leading up to our outing that we were sorely disappointed when we woke up to rain. my bag then broke on the way to the train station (after taking these pictures) and we had to get 2 trains and a bus because of maintenance work on the tracks. we though our trip was douse in bad luck but actually the sun came out, i brought a new bag once we were in london and the journey seemed quicker then first expected.

jacket - c/o another8 * // shirt - primark // trousers - zara // bag - primark (now in a random bin in london) // shoes - primark // necklace (old) - c/o daisymaejewellery *
so yeah the bag you see in these pictures is no more and is chilling in a bin in london but it did mean i could go shopping for a new bag (yay) and i got a lovely big white shopper bag from primark, i love it, so really this bag was meant to break on me!

outfit of the week #98 black and navy
another week is done and i'm a year older due to an unwelcome birthday on thursday. i never thought i'd be fussed about getting older but when it happens it kinda sucks. i won't be in my twenties for much longer and that makes me a little sad. on a more positive note i have fallen in love with the colour navy. these hybrid fashion trousers are gorgeous and so flattering. i know the 'rule' is don't wear black and navy together but i'm a big fan. i felt very chic and almost parisian in this little get up last sunday. the hair, might i add, is a little less parisian but hey it was a 'can't be bothered to wash it until later' kinda day.

jacket - asos // top - primark // trousers - c/o hybrid * // shoes - f&f at tesco // bag - primark
also loving these little pointed monochrome flats. i'm excited for the weather to cheer up so I can start wearing more open shoes and sandals, i hate having cold feet so my tootsies have been firmly under wraps all a/w, come on spring warm my feet.

embracing the 70s
i've always loved seventies fashion, its definitely an era i should have been born in. little ditsy florals are my favourite and i've finally bagged myself a fedora, thank you primark. although so far its been way too windy to actually wear it out the house. i wore this outfit literally all of last weekend. smock dresses are so comfortable and i can see me wearing this sleeveless blazer with everything!

dress - can't remember soz // sleeveless blazer - eBay // faux fur stole - new look // bag - matalan (old) // hat - primark // boots - c/o onlineavenue *
it was pretty darn windy when we took these pictures but they didn't turn out too bad in the end. the necklace i'm wearing in this outfit was found down the back of my chest of drawers in our recent house move. don't you just love it when you find something you completly forgot you had. hope you like.

Outfit of the week #84

jumper - primark // skirt - c/o Sugarhillboutique * // shoes - ? // bag - primark // necklace - notonthehighstreet (old)
This is a little outfit i wore over the festive period. We went to see family on boxing day and i really wanted to wear this gorgeous skirt that etailpr sent me from sugarhillboutique, its such a cute print, a little glitzy and kinda reminds me of christmas trees. I wasn't brave enough for a bare leg so opted to wear with tights, which i usually hate with a midi but am pleasantly surprised. I think the black jumper and black tights work well together and the festive burgundy shoes and bag really make the outfit stand out. Check out my cute antler necklace too (present from the husband last year). So Christmas is over again, hope you've had a great time and now for the lead up to New Year. Have any of you braved the sales yet? We're attempting it today but i tend to ignore the sale rails and go for the nice, neat new arrivals, i can't be bothered with all the sales faffing around.
Thanks

Outfit of the week #23
So who said it could be the middle of September huh! NB. We have a mere 14 Saturdays until Christmas, OMGEEEEE! Well I don't know about you but I'm still holding onto the dregs of summer or at least some form of sunshine in my life. Sadly its only my wardrobe holding onto this notion (oh hi loadsa rain). Any whoo my outfit this week is a darling smock dress from Choies. I love the paisley print and its nice baggy fit. Luckily its a dress that will look good with some opaque tights so I can wear it easily in the A/W months ahead.
Dress - c/o Choies* (sorry out of stock) // Belt - c/o Matalan* // Bag - c/o Soinfashion* // Shoes - Matalan // Cuff - H&M //
Rings - (green square amber ring) c/o Henryka*, (square rings) H&M, (turquoise ring) Vintage
I wore this out last night to watch some bands in the pub! The boy was being the sound techy guy and guest playing in one of the bands, so I was a bit of a loner again. But its all good because I was wearing my new favourite dress! I love the shape and style of smock dresses and would hazard a guess that I'll have a couple more added to the drobe soon. The only downside to this dress is it gets sooooo static, to the point of pure annoyance but I can live with that for fashion's sake! I can't decide whether I like it with the belt or without the belt so opinions please.
And also I've been trying to change/improve my outfit photos a bit, I really want to get some full length shots involved so have been experimenting. I would love your thoughts on that too, so if you like these pics then let me know or if you prefer how I did them in previous posts then tell me in the comments section or tweet me on @lazy2lovely, much appreciated.
P.S. Don't forget to enter my 1000 follower give-away to be in with a chance of winning a massive prize of £40 Topshop vouchers (who doesn't want that, huh)?
Thanks
