the first of our friends turned 30 last week, its going to be a year of celebrations (and lots of expense, i guess) as the rest of us reach the dreaded 3 0 too. yep including me in april and the husband in november . . . i'm not sure how to feel about this yet, i think times have changed and getting older isn't the same as it used to be but still, 30 seems so much older then 20 something. we viewed a house on monday too which is very grown up and not something we ever thought we would be doing having started out as renters. . . marriage, mortgage and babies its all too much!!!

anyway this is what a near 30 year old wears to a 30th birthday party, not a mini skirt or cleavage in sight. just a very sensible, yet stylish stripy midi dress, black courts and of course obligatory edgy fringed biker jacket. throw in a pop of neon and a statement necklace and I could almost pass for 20 right!!?
