A lazy but lovely christmas....

I'm not usually one to do Instagram posts but I wanted to do a bit of a christmassy post and thought the best way was through my Instagram happenings over the festive period.

Contrary to this posts title we had a very busy Christmas. I cooked my first Christmas dinner for my Mum, Stepdad and Luke (and very nice it was to if I do say so myself). We had eight people squished into our flat for a christmas day tea in the evening. On boxing day we saw the boys family for a second 'xmas day'. We saw more family on Friday and have another family gathering this afternoon annnnndddd we have a French themed party tomorrow evening, phew!

So heres a little taster of the last few days in the lazy2lovely household.

Christmas party outfit

A nice festive post today as I went to my Christmas party at the weekend. We had a great meal out and as there were so many of us we got a whole room of the venue to ourselves, which was great. I work in a workplace full of women so the cackling and shrieking was growing louder and louder the more the wine flowed. I was undecided on my outfit right up until a couple of hours before but in the end went with this cute dress I recently won in a giveaway from Little Mistress.

I'm glad I went with this dress in the end as it has a little festive sparkle and I love the pop of colour that I could match my lipstick and necklace with. I actually used a different clutch bag in the end as I spotted a great black and sliver one on Asos a few days before that went perfectly with the dress.

Its only a week until Christmas, just can't believe its nearly here. We got our Christmas tree on Sunday and instead of our usual tiny table top fake tree we've got an actual real deal in a pot with lights, baubles and a star on top. I'm actually excited to come home from work and see it everyday, is that weird?

Christmas wishlist #2

So Christmas is now two weeks away, yay!!! So I thought I'd get together another little present wish list for you to have a gander at (see my first Christmas wish list here). Feel free to buy and send me any of the above for Christmas, thanks then.

I've been fawning over this Dixi ring for ages, its so unique and its called 'perigee mystic unicorn tears' which is the cutest. I haven't had the pleasure of trying any Dixi products yet so I must indulge. 

I love this smart bag from Asos, it reminds me of the Zara city bag, which I never managed to get. 

These Gorgeous boots are just gorgeous, love the lace up detail and chunky white heels. 

I do love a yummy smelling candle and this 'Christmas memories' one is bound to smell amazing. 

I've only ever tried a Topshop lip bullet from their make up range so this little gift set featuring all the favourites would be a perfect starter kit.

Isn't this Antler necklace so pretty? Similarly to the Dixi ring I love how its really unique and would look great over a chunky jumper on Christmas day.

Outfit of the week #34

Hey fellow fashion peeps, how exciting is it that its December the 1st today? It's officially Christmas month and although I still think its a touch early to start festively decorating the flat I am getting all excited and must admit to wearing my Christmas pudding gloves earlier and I did buy a very cute snowman figurine today who has taken pride of place on our dining table. I still have a few presents to buy so I must brave the Christmas crowds again soon and then I can start my favourite part... the wrapping! I love wrapping all the presents, I set up all my bits on the floor put on some Christmas tunes grab a hot chocolate and away I go, fun times. 

Everything is from Primark all bar the bag which is eBay and the boots which are George@asda (yes I like to shop in Primark #sorrynotsorry)

The boy and I went toWinter Wonderland on Monday so that got me all christmassy too and we also went to see the Pixies with my Brother and Dad at the Hammersmith Apollo which was fricken amazing!! Unfortunately I didn't get any outfit pics that day but I had some from the week before when we went to the iMax theatre to see Gravity. You'll have to excuse the poor quality of these photos. They were randomly taken on the boys iPhone but I quite like the idea of having some outdoor shots for once, hope you like!
