Outfit of the week #31

So another week is done and I have another outfit for you! Its a casual outfit today something I wore to uni on Thursday purely to keep warm and cosy on the smelly bus. But I rather liked the final result so thought I would share with you all (apologies if you follow my Instagram you may have already seen this outfit combo). I snapped up the infamous Bambi jumper from Primark a couple of weeks back. I love it as its longline which can be dressed up or down. Strangely this jumper smells of marzipan (anyone else found this?) but its not the worse thing to smell of I guess. I'm still a sucker for a collar so will be adding many under jumper and dresses this A/W. I'm rocking my awesome Tesco coat again (its love) and my trusty red satchel.

Its been a long old week at work but probably because I have a week off now, yay! Its the boys birthday on Wednesday so lots of fun to be had and we're hoping to get all the Christmas shopping done in one trip (really?). So a busy week ahead. I'm off to meet a friend for coffee now so toodleooo.

Outfit of the week #25

Absolutely gutted that my week off is now at an end and I face the prospect of work tomorrow morning! I have nothing to show for my week off (apart from shopping purchases) I was rather lazy all week, just eating, tweeting, Instagramming and being nosey in blog land. Ah well the boy and I have a week off together in November which means one thing..... Christmas shopping time! We like to blitz the gift buying in one or two shopping trips, and due to a small leak in the flat we threw away some of the xmas decs so it'll be fun buying new ones.... anyway lets not get carried away with crimbo just yet.

My outfit of the week today is one I wore to slob around the house in and by slob I definitely mean slob. It was one of those days where you literally do nothing, to the point of feeling guilty for not having been outside at all day long. On this day I did indeed fail to venture out of the flat so in fact the shoes and bag you see in these pictures are unnecessary accessories (but what I would have worn had I chosen to open the front door).

Kimono - eBay  //  Top - Forever21 (similar here)  //  Leggings - H&M  //  Shoes - Primark  //  Bag - c/o soinfashion *  //  Ring - c/o Henryka

I love this comfy kimono, its in a cardigan material (if you know what I mean) so it seems more cosy then the general chiffon kimonos. It was an absolute bargain and I just know I'll be throwing it on loads when hanging around the flat and it'll be a perfect cover up in the spring. I can't get enough of my red satchel at the moment, I've been using it loads especially now I'm wearing my comfty red hi-tops again instead of sandals. Although its quite a casual outfit its actually been one of my favourite to photograph and show you guys so I hope you like it too.

Outfit of the week #23

So who said it could be the middle of September huh! NB. We have a mere 14 Saturdays until Christmas, OMGEEEEE! Well I don't know about you but I'm still holding onto the dregs of summer or at least some form of sunshine in my life. Sadly its only my wardrobe holding onto this notion (oh hi loadsa rain). Any whoo my outfit this week is a darling smock dress from Choies. I love the paisley print and its nice baggy fit. Luckily its a dress that will look good with some opaque tights so I can wear it easily in the A/W months ahead.

Dress - c/o Choies* (sorry out of stock)  //  Belt - c/o Matalan*  //  Bag - c/o Soinfashion*  //  Shoes - Matalan  //  Cuff - H&M  //
Rings -  (green square amber ring) c/o Henryka*,  (square rings) H&M,  (turquoise ring) Vintage

I wore this out last night to watch some bands in the pub! The boy was being the sound techy guy and guest playing in one of the bands, so I was a bit of a loner again. But its all good because I was wearing my new favourite dress! I love the shape and style of smock dresses and would hazard a guess that I'll have a couple more added to the drobe soon. The only downside to this dress is it gets sooooo static, to the point of pure annoyance but I can live with that for fashion's sake! I can't decide whether I like it with the belt or without the belt so opinions please.

And also I've been trying to change/improve my outfit photos a bit, I really want to get some full length shots involved so have been experimenting. I would love your thoughts on that too, so if you like these pics then let me know or if you prefer how I did them in previous posts then tell me in the comments section or tweet me on @lazy2lovely, much appreciated.
