Yep I'm rocking the cobalt blue again, I just love it! Such a flattering colour and I always feel dressed up when I wear it. This is my favourite outfit of late. I just love this fluffy jumper and its a perfect length, cropped enough to look cute but not too much to show my belly off all the time. Always a fan of flattering jeans and these 'mom' jeans from Fashion Union are perfect. I seriously need to go winter boot/shoe shopping I can't keep subjecting my poor tootsies to the elements in such little spring/summer pumps like these.

*New favourite outfit alert* I have all kinds of love for these acid wash 'Mom' jeans. It's taken me a while to latch on to the high wasted trend as I never though it was for me but now I bloody love it. These jeans make me feel skinny and cool, yep cool! I've paired them with one of my hidden fashion competition wins (see here). It's actually a dress but the shape didn't really suit me so I chopped off the bottom and made it into a top instead.

You might be thinking 'hang about her hair has got mighty long since the last post' well you would be correct. I got me some hair extensions and I now I have bona fide Mermaid/Disney princess hair. They were rather an extravagant purchase but all for research purposes for my wedding day hair so a necessity of course, ha!! I love having longer, thicker hair but it takes some getting use to. I'm paranoid you can see the bonds and not sure what to do with it all for work (as I have to have it up) but hey I'm sure I'll get use to it and if I don't it doesn't matter too much because I can just get them taken out and have my usual hair back as its a clever method that doesn't ruin your own hair, win!

Check out the salons website arabellarose if you fancy haven't it done yourself, I definitely recommend them if you want lovely long, voluminous locks.

Spring wishlist

 photo 90096a6d-b7fa-404a-8fe8-b908163056f4_zps943dacd2.jpg

Okay so If you follow me on instagram you'll know that this isn't so much a wish list anymore as I've already bought one of the items, whoops. But Asos lured me in with their cute white shoes, I couldn't resist. I must not buy the rest of these clothes (although it is my birthday a week today so if any one wants to get me a present....?)
Whats your fav?

Also I was recently asked to write a style secret for the people at boohoo, so here is the infographic showing mine and some other lovely bloggers tips and tricks. And don't forget to check out Boohoos style fix page for more ideas.

Spring coat: Fashion Union

 photo 0d125921-d791-44bc-9b7e-4dbe2e789b74_zps8919497f.jpg

Check out this cute little coat. Its so cosy and fleecy inside and the furry collar is to die for. I feel a little 60s or 70s in it because of the collars. I decided to casual it up in jeans and high tops. I've been trying a out a little beehive do lately and I don't think I'm doing to bad actually, it needs a little neatening up but considering I've never beehived before I'm pretty happy.

These pictures were taken last Monday as the boy and I had the day off to give notice of marriage (yes we are officially allowed to marry now). Afterwards we had a pub lunch and a little stroll along the local canal. As the weekend had been quite warm and sunny we thought it would be a nice sunny walk but it was bloody freezing so please excuse the 'I'm very cold' poses.
Do you like how I styled the jacket? What else could I wear with this cute jacket?

Outfit of the week #35

Hi peoples, I"m on an absolute high at the moment because I've just summited a fecker of an assignment! So now its been sent to cyber space I can forget about it (until I get my mark anyway). I feel like a massive weight has been lifted as I was really struggling with this particular module and was getting a bit emotional about it all. So once I clicked send I whooped with joy, cleaned the flat so its all shiny now, wrapped christmas presents and now I'm gonna do some online shopping and see if I can find anymore Christmas presents.

I was sent this lovely floral playsuit from Fashion Union a little while ago but just haven't had a chance to show you all, or even wear it for real yet (see above as to why). I really like playsuits and this one is adorable. I definitely felt it was a bit short (for me) to have bare legs so I've cracked out the opaque tights again. I've re-established my love for the blazer in this outfit and this cute blush pink one goes perfectly with the floral print.

I love the pastel colour palette in this outfit. Could this be a possible Christmas party outfit for me next weekend or is it not Christmassy enough?
I'm really looking forward to this week, with no impending assignment hand in dates until the end of January I feel I can start getting ready for Christmas properly, decorate the flat, finish the present buying and start panicking over cooking Christmas dinner for the first time, oh no!!!!!

Hope you all have a great week. I think I'll get together another xmas wish list for you for Wednesdays post!
Thanks

Outfit of the week #6

Another week has gone and its back to my outfit of the week post! I'm coming up to the end of my second year at uni so my posts are a bit sporadic and boring of late so sorry about that I should be back on it by June so stick with me!

My outfit this week is something I wore out for a meal last night with friends, we went to a great Pub/Restaurant called The Sausage tree that sells crazy meats like Zebra, Crocodile and kangaroo. I had a springbok sausage and Luke went all out and had steak and camel (ewwwww) which he cooked himself on a hot stone. Here's what I wore......

Dress and belt - Primark / Blazer - eBay / Wicker clutch - H&M (old) Similar here / Watch - M&Co / Shoes - Fashion Union

So I decided to rock a lot of polka dots for the occasion! I love this shift dress from Primark but I have to add a belt as its slightly to long for my height without one. The bag is an oldie but is great for adding a punch of colour to an otherwise monochrome outfit. Now I am lying about the shoes. My intention was to wear these beauties from Fashion Union that Luke got me for my birthday but I wasn't brave enough and ended up wearing black tights, which just didn't look good with these gorgeous, delicate strappy sandals.
I've got a wedding reception next weekend so hopefully I will be able to give them their first outing then.
I actually wore my hair very long and straight to the meal as I just didn't like it as it is in the pictures. I don't usually have straight hair because I like a bit of volume but now I have a fringe the straight hair look doesn't look to bad, check out instagram to see how my hair was on the night.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway, you'll be in with a chance of winning some spring/summer clothing so go forth and enter until your hearts content.
