outfit of the week #96 - pinstripes and moccasins
i am writing this post as i am trapped in the new flat. yep actually trapped. the husband went off to work early this morning and double locked the door from the outside and now I can't open the door (you can't lock/unlock from the inside, its an old school chain thingy). i have to admit i'm alittle distressed about the whole issue. . . but only because i had planned a shopping trip and now i can't go.
anyway as I have the time I thought I would write up this post. i wore this outfit to a friends gig last sunday. how cute are these platformed moccasins from shoezone. i love them, i love the colour, i love the shininess, i love that they are slip ons and i love the little bit of extra height they give me, to darn cute. i think they go perfectly with my little pinstripe jumper and smart black cropped trews. this outfit is a bargainers delight, shoezone shoes and the rest is primark, perf! p.s loving my hair in these pics, why can't it always look like this? right now i'm off to . . . well wait for luke to get home so i can leave the house. . .
thanks

outfit of the week #92
coat - krisp clothing // shirt - new look (old) // trousers - primark // shoes - primark // bag - ebay // necklace - h&m (old) // skull ring - kat&bee jewellery c/o jewelstreet *
i make no apologies you're going to be seeing a lot of this darn beautiful coat, it just looks amazing with everything, fact! I've had this stripy shirt for a good three years and was almost going to chuck it out a couple of months ago. . . i'm so glad I didn't as i've fallen in love with it all over again, i especially love layering long necklaces over the top of it. i wore this ensemble out last night to celebrate a friends engagement . . . and got the chance to wear this cute and quirky skull ring sent to me from jewelstreet by kat&bee jewellery. not only is it a gorgeous ring but it was sent to be so quickly and presented in a cute presentation box and drawstring bag . . . a great gift for someone who likes alternative accessories perhaps?

outfit of the week #91
denim jacket - zara // jumper - primark // trousers - zara // bag - primark // shoes - dorothy perkins
say hello to my new favourite trousers... last sunday i showed you some gorgeous bargain trainers from zara and this week its these amazing oxblood pleather trousers, I just love them, the colour, the length and the fact that they have a very forgiving elastic waistband, which certainly helped when the husband and i ate all of prezzo's on tuesday. we wanted to beat the valentines rush so we had our valentines early and getting to dress up on a week day is always fun. i love this jumper too, its actually a jumper dress but as you can see i've tucked it in, theres something about navy and stripes that look really smart and my cobalt blue courts always finish off an outfit perfectly.

White hi tops
jacket - new look // check shirt - h&m // tshirt - primark // jeans - primark // hi tops - c/o krisp clothing *
i'm all about the trainers this week. . . here i am in another pair, this time white, patent hi tops. they're so bright white you can't really see them in these photos (click on the link above for a better look). you can't really go wrong with an all b&w outfit and the hi tops really set the look off, although this amazing coat does play havoc with your eyesight. i' am forever bored of my hair so have lightened the tips for a very subtle ombre look. i like it but can already see me dying it all really dark brown again in a few weeks time.

Outfit of the week #82
Jacket - Primark (old) // Jumper - c/o chicnova * // Culottes - Primark // Shoes - Deichmann // Bag - New Look via Asos // Necklace - Primark
It's official I'm obsessed with checks and tartan. Apologies in advance my next two outfit posts are also featuring my apparent favourite trend, who knew i loved it so much. I've actually had to throw this jumper away since wearing it on thursday night for a meal with my gal pals. I got lipstick on it which didn't come off in the wash so in a fit of anger i chucked it in the bin (warning: don't get Rimmel Provocalips on your clothes). Anyway i love these culottes from primark, although they do get creased really easy i think they look perfect with my slingback mules.
Hope you like this look, comment and let me know below.

Winter is coming
furry coat // Fluffy top // Blanket cape // Knee high boots // Jumper // Boots
Haven't done a wish list post for a while, its always a struggle to whittle it down to a few items... I want everything. Lots of cosy winter warmers in this list. I'm just loving all the fur lately, which is new as usually I hat faux fur items. How cute is the sky blue fluffy jumper, it'll look fab with some black peg leg trousers and stroppy heels. The suede ankles boots are sat in my fashion union shopping cart waiting but I need to not spend money, ggrrrrr! Whats your favourite?

The fluffy jumper
Coat - Florence and Fred @ Tesco // Fluffy Jumper -Florence and Fred @ Tesco (old) // Jeans - Fashion Union // Bag - Asos // Shoes River island (all old purchases)
Yep I'm rocking the cobalt blue again, I just love it! Such a flattering colour and I always feel dressed up when I wear it. This is my favourite outfit of late. I just love this fluffy jumper and its a perfect length, cropped enough to look cute but not too much to show my belly off all the time. Always a fan of flattering jeans and these 'mom' jeans from Fashion Union are perfect. I seriously need to go winter boot/shoe shopping I can't keep subjecting my poor tootsies to the elements in such little spring/summer pumps like these.
Thanks for reading

Outfit of the week #71
Dress - F&F at Tesco // Jacket - Primark // Necklace - Topshop // Shoes - c/o shelikes * // Bag - M&Co
I went out for Thai food last night and this is what I wore. Suffice to say the Thai food was divine and I will probably no longer be able to wear this dress (or any other dress for that matter) for all the yummy food I consumed. I originally brought this red dress to wear for my graduation, but thought it best to wear something easier to walk in. Although I'm sad to see summer leave I'm very excited to start wearing my favourite tasselled leather jacket again, I love wearing over nice dresses on evenings out like this. Still wearing this gorgeous necklace I found in the Topshop sale recently, it looks so expensive.
Thanks

Stripes and waistcoats??
Dress - Hidden Fashion // Waistcoat - Zara (old) // Bag - ? // Shoes - Primark
Hello chicks, I wasn't sure this outfit actually worked together or not but I wore it out anyway. I went bridesmaid shoe and accessory shopping wearing this on Sunday because it was warm but cloudy so I needed some kind of cover up. I don't like getting my legs out when the sun isn't shining and this stripy dress is tight so I felt more confident wearing the vest over it. I love the crochet detailing on the sleeves of this dress, its so pretty. Hope you like this outfit, let me know below....
Thanks
