Hello chicks, I wasn't sure this outfit actually worked together or not but I wore it out anyway. I went bridesmaid shoe and accessory shopping wearing this on Sunday because it was warm but cloudy so I needed some kind of cover up. I don't like getting my legs out when the sun isn't shining and this stripy dress is tight so I felt more confident wearing the vest over it. I love the crochet detailing on the sleeves of this dress, its so pretty. Hope you like this outfit, let me know below....

Outfit of the week #70

Please excuse the non make up face and grumpiness of these pictures, I wasn't happy with the blog photo taking situation (by this I mean old people milling around wondering what your doing... grrrr). The final pictures weren't quite as bad as I first thought apart from that fact that I should have put some make up on, opps! Anyway this is one of those outfits consisting of old clothes re-worn in new ways. I almost threw these shoes out a little while ago but i'm so glad I didn't, definitely wearing them well here. Also loving this necklace I picked up for £2.50 in the Topshop sale recently. It's got a nice ethnic/buddist kinda feel about it and everyone comments on its prettiness.

Outfit of the week #58

Dress - River Island via Asos  //  Satchel - ?  //  Sandals - Tu at Sainsbury's 

Not that I'm one to brag but I'm going on holiday today, yayyyyy! Off to sunny (hopefully) Portugal for a week of relaxing after a stressful week trying to submit my final uni assignment... suffice to say it didn't work because the tutor hasn't sorted out the submission point properly and I'm having to take my laptop on holiday with me so I can try and submit it again... very annoying! But never mind at least I can do it in the sun. I wore this dress yesterday to do a little last minute holiday shopping. The sun showed itself for a tiny tot bit so I thought I would show a glimpse of leg. This dress is just amazing the detailing is gorgeous and I love the sheer sleeves. I feel a touch banana like in it though.

Outfit of the week #46

I'm writing this with the sun shining and it feels gooooood! Having said that I've seen a lot of people in shorts, vests and short sleeves on this sunny Sunday and I'm sorry people but come on... its not even spring yet! I definitely still need a jacket despite the warmer sun. My outfit of the week post is a little ensemble I wore last night, fairly casual and to quote my fiancé ''Can I say you look a little bit grunge in that outfit'' Yes, yes you can! It is a little grunge and I like it that way. The skirt was a bargainous £3.99 from H&M (loving that shop at the mo). Every girl needs a little black tube skirt and I love the lace detailing on this one. Every girl also needs a breton style top in their lives too, they're just perfect for all outfits and occasions and they look so fresh and preppy, don't cha think?

Hopefully this lovely weather will stay with us for a while, I'm hoping tomorrow will be nice as the boy and I have the day off work. We have to go give notice of marriage (oooooo how grown up) in the morning then perhaps a little stroll by the canal or something in the afternoon. In the evening we're heading out for a meal with both sets of parents. They have met a number of times before but this will be the first collective meal out together so I expect lots of wedding talk will be had.

Faux fur and cobalt blue

Two of my favourite things in this mid week outfit post. Fur and this amazing cobalt blue colour. I never use to be one for faux fur but I'm loving this very fluffy gillet even though it makes me feel ostrich like. I think it looks great chucked on over a jumper or cute dress. This blue colour is my favourite at the moment and as well this jumper I've got a coat and pair of shoes in the same shade (I won't wear them all at the same time perhaps a bit too much). The jumper goes perfectly with this little aztec mini from Primark though and who can resist a little denim collar poking out to.

Still loving my Deathly Hallows necklace from Daisy Mae jewellery and my faithful white satchel. I love the print on this skirt and the material is a bit thicker so I feel its more of a winter skirt if you know what I mean?!

Outfit of the week #17

This is something I wore last weekend for a chilling out,  maxing, relaxing all cool and shooting some b-ball outside of the school kinda day (no I didn't shoot b-ball and I could never relax all cool) but it was one of those nothing days. If you follow me on instagram (lazy2lovely) you would have seen my picture where I said I felt all prim and proper in my tartan, satchel and sandals and that I did, but I bloody love this outfit. This gorgeous dress is from Missi clothing who are a fab British manufacturer and wholesaler who supply to high street stores and independent boutiques across the globe. A lot of what they make is done in Britain, which is quite a rare thing in this day and age. Unfortunately on trying to find the link for this particular dress I could no longer see it on the website, wahhhhh! But worry not my fashion friends tartan is set to be huge this A/W so I'm sure you'll find something similar somewhere.
