Dress - Cameo Rose at New Look  //  Necklace - River Island  //  Kimono - H&M  //  Shoes - River Island (old)  //  Clutch - eBay

There is something disgusting yet amazing about the colour of this dress... But I love it and it looks great with a tan! I think a shift dress is the most flattering dress ever, it skims over holiday food babies and the studded back gives it a cute twist. You can always jazz up a simple shift dress with a fab necklace too. I've opted for a cute daisy chain necklace, which I love except it doesn't lay nicely on the neckline and my hair gets caught in it constantly. You'll be seeing this black kimono cover up a lot as it was my holiday jacket for the week. It literally goes with everything in the world... ever.

The boy wanted in on this outfit post malarky as he was feeling rather proud of this holiday outfit. We did nearly fall out over the fact that he needed to roll up the chinos in order to look 'cool' but he did eventually listen (having previously walked out the shop) and he loved it in the end. Outfit of the week #26

Can I just say before you start reading I really dislike these pictures, my nose looks fat, my legs look stumpy and I look grumpy as hell..... rant over... we carry on.

The lovely people at FrontRowShop very kindly sent over this cute collared dress for me to style up and show you. Its such a gorgeous colour and I still love anything with collars, I was hoping to style it using a white belt and some white shoes but having been on various shopping trips to find said white shoes I am yet to find some that I like. I basically want some similar to the ones I'm wearing in these pictures but in white so if you come across any then feel free to tweet me the link (@lazy2lovely).
So having not found any white shoes I've had to use what I already have. I'm not 100% pleased with this outfit due to having a different idea in mind, but hey ho the dress is still cute!

Dress - c/o FrontRowShop*  //  Shoes - H&M  //  Belt - ?  //  Bag - Primark  //  Rings - H&M

I had to clinch it in with a belt as without one its a touch to long on me (short arse alert) and just looks a bit shapeless, so the belt adds a bit of character. As the dress is quite simple I've added a lot of studded detail to perk it up a bit (but would sooooo look better if accessories were in white not black, damn).
Do you think I can get away with wearing this dress with black opaque tights and boots for the colder weather? By the way last few days to enter  my 1000 follower give-away to be in with a chance of winning a massive prize of £40 Topshop vouchers

Thanks

Outfit of the week #14

Ok so this week at work dragged on and on and on, it may well have been my longest feeling week at work EVER (and I've been there 7 years) and for no apparent reason. I think the prospect of the incredibly hot weekend left me feeling too excited and my anticipation of finally wearing shorts and summer dresses was just too much for me. I have literally been planning outfits in my head all week (cause that's how fashion bloggers role am I right?). I haven't even really done anything that interesting this weekend. I had lunch with the girls and wore the outfit in this 'outfit of the week'. Luke and I had a BBQ for two on Saturday evening and then carried on our 'Game of Thrones' obsession. On Sunday I wrote my staff appraisals in the sun wearing shorts and crop top (yep I succumbed and wore a crop top). And this evening we will be heading to Luke's Aunties for tea and Birthday cake and hopefully celebrating a Wimbledon win!!!

So as I said I wore this casual look to a friends for spot of lunch in the garden. We may have eaten loads and we may have all caught the sun a little bit too much. Word of advice don't cross your legs for too long in the sun this equals one burnt knee and also if you're thinking of getting a fringe please wait until at least September. Sun + heavy fringe = sweaty mess!!

                         Dress - H&M (old) // Denim vest - New Look (was a Jacket) // Belt - c/o Matalan * // Bag - Zara // Sandals - Primark
                                                                               Sunglasses - Primark // Rings - Primark

I wear this DIYed denim vest over pretty much all my summer dresses. (It was a Jacket, I hacked off the sleeves and added some studs) I think it instantly adds a bit of character and makes me feel a little more covered up and confident. This little summer dress was from H&M last year I think quite a few bloggers snapped it up at the time as it was only £7. Its so versatile and can be styled so many ways, definitely a fav.
I finally got my paws on one of the gorgeous Zara messenger bags. I definitely knew I wanted the yellow one and was pleased to see one left when I went on a little big shopping spree last weekend. I had also been lusting over these cute sandals that I have seen popping up on instagram pictures quite a lot, so cute! My sunglasses are part of said shopping spree too. Their a Primark bargain and are an adorable 50s vintagey kinda style.

Right I'm off to cool down in Tesco's doing the weekly shop, do let me know it you like the outfit! And check my instagram for more pics on this weekends outfits and frivolities.

Thanks

Outfit of the week #11

My outfit this week is something I really wanted to wear when I thought we were in for a sunny weekend unfortunately although the sun was out it was bloody cold due to the pesky wind so I never managed to step outside the door in this ensemble! I thought you might like to see it anyway as what I actually wore wasn't overly interesting (leggings and an oversized t-shirt if you're interested).

This little tunic dress I managed to find in the Motel sale earlier this year for a tenner! I still love the galaxy print trend so if the weather does perk up I will be wearing it loads, although it looks great with leggings and black opaque tights too. I can't get enough of my studded bag and shoes and I went a little stud bananas with the studded/spike headband from Primark. If you fancied a little spend up on the motel rocks website don't forget to use my code 'kylie' to get 20% off you order.

Outfit of the week #9

Hello readers, hope everyone's had a great week I'm feeling good after literally just finishing my last assignment for Uni this year (And it doesn't even have to be handed in yet, go me). Now looking forward to a Summer English summer of relaxing (when I'm not at work), blogging and lots of shopping until the dreaded third year in September.

So its outfit of the week time again!! I'm not even sure I'll still be able to fit into this dress after the weekend of eating me and Luke have had. It all started off with fish finger sandwiches for Saturday lunchtime (quite possibly my favourite thing!). Followed by all you can eat Chinese buffet in the evening with my Moomin Mumma and Step Dad. Then onto Sunday pub lunch with the Father and we're currently waiting to be picked up by Lukes parents for an evening at Frankie and Benny's, phew! So it looks like I'm eating dry rice cakes for the next month.

Dress - Shelikes / Necklace - Primark / Boots - Matalan / Bag - eBay / Jewellery  - selection from ASOS/Prmark/H&M

This particular outfit I wore to the pub lunch with my Dad. I know pretty much everyone has one of these dresses or something very similar but it is cute and a snip of a price at  £15 from Shelikes. I teamed it with lots of gold accents and studs cos that's just how I roll. I'm still not brave enough for bare legs so I stuck with my faithful black opaques, although I did add some cheeky little frilly ankle socks!

Hope you like

Outfit of the week #7

Just a quick outfit of the week post from me today as I'm currently getting ready for a wedding reception!(which I will also do an outfit of the week post for next Sunday)
This is something I threw together for an evening out with friends, we just went for a curry and then drinks round their new flat so its fairy casual but I absolutely love these Primark studded jeans and of course my trusty eBay black blazer, which I pretty much wear with every outfit! The shoes are a last year purchase which I had previously only worn once but I have recently re-kindled my love for and I love wearing them with turned up trousers/jeans. The clutch bag was an absolute bargain from M&Co just £6 down from £55 (its real leather) and the necklace was from Poundland, ha!

In real life the outfit looked quite 90s, think Rachel from Friends but I don't think these photos really portray that. I still love it though, what do you think?

Thanks to everyone who entered my giveaway, I will be picking and contacting the winner sometime tomorrow

Outfit of the week #2

Hello all, hope everyone's enjoying their Easter weekend and gorging on as many chocolate eggs as you physically can. I'm posting my outfit of the week today as I won't be around tomorrow to do it! I hope you enjoy, it's a combination of five of my favourite pieces right now. The Bowie inspired outfit is after I spent Friday night on my own (boyf was gigging) watching David Bowie documentaries and eating Easter eggs, heaven!

The whole of this outfit is pretty much new apart from the shoes which are my faithful 'go with everything' heels.
In my lunch hour at uni a couple of weeks ago I popped into Primark (I went out to get a folder, bad Kylie) and came out with an entire outfit. I'm going through a bit of a rock chick, band tee shirt phase (again) and have myself a little collection of Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and now Bowie tees, I love dressing them up with heels, blazer and a clutch bag. Now the leather look trousers I've had my eye on for a while and they happened to be in the sale so I was very happy to be paying £6 instead of £13... or so I thought! When I went to pay the cashier looked very confused and re-priced the trousers. She looked at me and said 'did you know the trousers are £2 now?' Whaaaaattttttt! Bargain of the year I think! Of course I had to round off my Primark shopping trip with a piece of jewellery so went for this gold look necklace with five clear stone detail. I love the snake like chain and its subtle hint of of bling. If you follow me on instagram you would have already seen me gushing about my new ebay bag, isn't it gorge? Still loving studs and I like the mix of textures along with the gold zip detailing.

Hope you liked my second 'outfit of the week'? I'm sure you'll be seeing the bag in many a outfit post in the future and the necklace is now a firm favourite too. Enjoy the rest of your easter break and don't forget to comment, I absolutely love reading them. Any specific questions then tweet me @lazy2lovely
