outfit of the week #97

i may be enjoying the seventies trend a little too much lately. i think every outfit i've worn in the last couple of weeks has had some kind of seventies influence. this one being no exception. . . we have the suede tasselled jacket and the little mustard skirt, which by the way is a primark find from about 3 years ago, pretty glad i didn't throw it away. this light weight blue shirt is a staple in my wardrobe at the moment. it's just so easy to team with jeans or a skirt like this. it gives the denim shirt look I want but it isn't heavy and stiff like some denim shirts.

jacket  -  c/o celeblook *  //  shirt - new look  //  skirt - primark (old)  //  boots - matalan (old)  //  clutch - primark

i'm loving this new church door background for my outfit posts, although i'm really having to ignore my people watching me insecurities as the public are constantly driving/walking past while we're taking pictures. . . and i hope the vicar doesn't mind me using his backdoor as a backdrop!! i went to a hat party last night, which gave me a chance to wear the fedora from my previous post again, expect some hat related instagram pics if you follow me on there (@lazy2lovely) .

jumper - primark  //  skirt - c/o Sugarhillboutique *  //  shoes - ?  //  bag - primark  //  necklace - notonthehighstreet (old)

This is a little outfit i wore over the festive period. We went to see family on boxing day and i really wanted to wear this gorgeous skirt that etailpr sent me from sugarhillboutique, its such a cute print, a little glitzy and kinda reminds me of christmas trees. I wasn't brave enough for a bare leg so opted to wear with tights, which i usually hate with a midi but am pleasantly surprised. I think the black jumper and black tights work well together and the festive burgundy shoes and bag really make the outfit stand out. Check out my cute antler necklace too (present from the husband last year). So Christmas is over again, hope you've had a great time and now for the lead up to New Year. Have any of you braved the sales yet? We're attempting it today but i tend to ignore the sale rails and go for the nice, neat new arrivals, i can't be bothered with all the sales faffing around.

Thanks

Cardigan - Wearall  //  Top - Primark  //  Jeans - Primark  //  Shoes - Matalan  //  Bag - New Look via asos

This outfit got a lot of love when I posted a mirror selfie on my Instagram page last weekend, so I hope this blog post will get the same reaction. I definitely need to get myself some more breton inspired tops. They look so smart with everything, you soooo can't go wrong with a good stripy garment. Jeans have to be the one thing I hate shopping for but Primark have been my saviour recently. I have this pair and a black pair that I wear constantly and you know what for £10 they're pretty darn good... in fact I would say the best jeans I've ever had. They fit me perfectly and look really flattering. Obviously every girl is different but I strongly recommend trying them out if your struggling to find the perfect jean. *FYI - I added the holes on the knees myself*. Do comment and let me know you thoughts on this outfit, I love reading them.
Thanks
Kylie

Jacket - Sheinside  //  Dress - New Look  //  Bag - George@Asda  //  Shoes - Matalan  //  Phone case - c/o iconemesis*

This cute phone case goes perfectly with my blush pink jacket. iconemesis have some super cute cases at the moment, a definite hit if you're a bunny fan. The lovely people behind these very funky and cute iPhone cases, iconemesis, kindly gifted me this in order to spread the word about their campaign. They hope to try and expand their brand and range of accessories, so if you want to back them in this endeavour then you have until Thursday to #supporticonemesis on indigogo

In other news check out these man brogues.... love, love, love. Tan shoes are always flattering (hello tanned legs) and they were £6 in the Matalan sale... amaze! I was actually hoping to wear this last night to a friends birthday bbq but the sun seemed to disappear, so I popped on some jeans and a grey top, with the coat and brogues instead. I think grey compliments this subtle pink coat perfectly!

Outfit of the week #59

Dress - George @ Asda  //  Waistcoat - Zara  //  Shoes - Diechmann  //  Clutch - eBay  //  Rings - H&M  //  Necklace - H&M

Oh.... I'm coming back from my holidays today.... this makes me sad! Back to normality after doing nothing but sit and eat all week. I love this outfit, I feel very chic and grown up in it. The waistcoat was originally a shirt dress but its a bit gapey round the old breasticles so I've used my noggin and recycled it as a cool longline waistcoat. The dress was a cheapy find in Asda but doesn't it look like an expensive Zara creation? I really like the longer sleeves on it, which is why I feel kind of grown up in it I think. And yes I'm rocking the see through clutch again, I can't express my love for this bag (and these shoes) enough....
