Jeans - Primark  //  Jacket - Primark  //  Jumper - Primark  (all old purchases) //  Scarf - Primark  //  Boots - George @ Asda  //  Bag - Asos  //  Necklace - Everours

Ooo I'm so excited for scarf season again, I think a good coat and scarf is what makes an outfit really stand out in the autumn/winter months. A long scarf like this one is also my best friend as it can be worn so casually like this or wrapped around to create a whole different look. I still love love love cobalt blue, such a great colour against the other fairly dab colour palette of this ensemble.
Thanks

Top - Select  //  Shorts - Zara  //  Sandals - Primark  //  Necklace - Primark  //  Bag - ?

I found these cute Zara shorts on the sale rail a while ago and have been dying to wear them. I love the whole chic tailored look at the moment and this box crop top goes perfectly with these smart stripy high waisted shorts. I definitely love a pocket as well, I've forever got my hands in my pockets and if an outfit doesn't have them I feel a little lost! I'm starting to enjoy my hair being straight lately. I went through a stage of forever having wavy hair because I felt straight just didn't look right on me but I've been embracing it over the last couple of weeks.
Hope you like

Outfit of the week #32

Oh man my week off is over and back to work tomorrow. This makes me very sad! We had a great week xmas shopping, relaxing and celebrating the boys birthday. We went to the iMax cinema in London on Wednesday and saw Gravity and than we ate far too much in the evening when we headed out with his Mum, Dad and Brother. We spent the rest of the week not doing too much, I attempted some uni work and eventually finished my presentation (worst nightmare) yesterday. Now I've got to get started on a proposal for a piece of potential action research so not looking forward to that.

Anyway last weekend we went over to a friends house for a little get together. We hadn't seen them for a while and we had a great afternoon catching up and playing with their little girl, this is what I wore. Another gorgeous piece from Persunmall

Dress/tunic - c/o Persunmall *  //  Jacket - Primark  //  Necklace - c/o Distressed *  //  Bag - Primark  //  Cosy tights - Primark  //  Boots - George @ Asda

This dress/tunic is so wearable and the long sleeves mean its ok to wear this time of year without the need of a cardigan, which can sometimes ruin the look of a dress. I love it casually like this outfit but I can also see it with killer heels and blazer too. My eagle necklace is such a statement piece and I always get compliments when I wear it. I desperately wanted some knee high boots after trying on a pair in Marks and Sparks but being £99 I put them back with a tear in my eye. The next day the boy and I were shopping in Asda and I couldn't contain my excitement at spying an almost identical pair for £48. I whacked out the neon pink satchel again for this outfit because...well why not and of course my favourite pleather jacket.

Hope you like this outfit, as always let me know by leaving a comment or tweeting me.

Outfit of the week #29

Todays outfit of the week is something I wore last weekend clubbing.... yes I went clubbing! Its been a while since the boy and I did this kinda recreational activity and needless to say we went with people a few years younger then us. Although having said this we were the last ones standing dancing and we had an excellent time drinking cocktails from teapots.

If you follow me on Instagram you will remember me asking advice on what clutch to use with this outfit a yellow one or a grey one... well I went for the grey one.

 Boots - c/o Barratts *

I did feel rather overdressed in my black tights while all the other ladies were deck out in tiny skirts and backless dresses but I'm sorry I go for warmth and comfort nowadays, I have no one to impress. I love love love these gorgeous cut out boots from Barratts, they're a perfect height and the nice chunky heel keep me very safe through all the dancing! Check out the amazing eagle necklace too. unfortunately part of this outfit is now in the bin. The chain strap on the blue vest broke while we were in the taxi... on the way there.. so I had to tie it back on and keep the blazer on all night... not ideal! Hope you like this outfit, let me know in the comments as I love reading them all.

Thanks

Outfit of the week #27

Hi kids, how cold has it got, waaaaa! I see so many bloggers wishing for the cold weather and although I do love chunky knits, cool coats, gorgeous boots and a funky beanie hat, I also bloodly hate the cold weather. My eyes water in the wind, my nose is incredibly painful when the cold air first hits it and my fingers go white and numb almost straight away. So its safe to say I love the warmer weather and am already wishing for March to come.

Having said that I have an amazing new cobalt blue biker style coat from F&F at tesco, which I won through the twitter comp (#myffstyle). I wore said coat last night with this lovely outfit but didn't manage to get any photos with it in (but I'm sure you'll see it in a post soon). I've also embraced the winter boots again not only have I re-fallen in love with these gorgeous boots (see photos below) but I also managed to spend £60 in Asda the other day having popped some flat chelsea boots and some knee high riding boots in the trolly alongside the bread and milk.

Anyway my outfit of the week is something I wore last night to a restaurant with the boy and his parents. Lots of food was sampled and copious amounts of wine drunk so all in all a fab Saturday night. I love this outfit. I love how its quite simple but the amazing statement necklace and tropical print wrap skirt make it seem more interesting then it actually is. Admittedly I did wear black tights with this ensemble as I'm not quite brave enough for bare legs in the middle of October.

T-shirt - Primark  //  Necklace - c/o Persunmall *  //  Skirt -  c/o Persunmall *  //  Bag - Primark  //  Ankle socks - Primark  //  Boots - Matalan  //  Rings - H&M  //  Bracelet - Stall in Portugal

The skirt is really short but as I said black tights were a necessity so I didn't have my legs on show. This necklace is absolutely stunning and I have worn it numerous times since receiving it a couple of weeks ago.  Doesn't it look great against the simple black boyfriend tee?

Hope you liked this outfit of the week, be sure to check back on Wednesday as I have another celeb style steal to show you all featuring one of those fluffy jumpers (you know the ones!!!!) and another temporary tattoo from Fickle.

Thanks

Outfit of the week #24

Yayyyyy, I have a week off work.. ahem! Anyway a causal outfit of the week for y'all today. This is something I wore to the boys Grandad's birthday meal during the week. I didn't want to dress up but I also wanted to dress up enough (do you know what I mean?). He also lives out in the sticks so warm attire was necessary. I've re-awakened my love for this tasselled leather jacket from a Primark sale earlier this year, it literally goes with everything. The white satchel is out in full force again as are the autumn/winter boots. I've tried to mix up the patterns and textures a bit in this outfit. Rocking some polka dots, stripes, knitwear and leather all in one outfit combination, booyah! I just wish I had remembered to wear my oversized beanie hat in the outfit photos to show you the full A/W look. I didn't realise how much of this outfit was Primark until I typed it out. Yes I love Primark, not even sorry.

I do love a good gold statement necklace and yes although I love my chunky gold chain in this outfit post I think this beast of an eagle necklace from Distressed would look perfect with this outfit too. How awesome is it?
